FLEET BIDS FAREWELL TO THE COMMANDER OF ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY

MUARA, Thursday 24 April 2020 – The Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Othman bin Haji Suhaili @ Suhaily paid a farewell visit to RBN Fleet in appreciation for his contribution and support to the fleet as part of his series of farewell visits to various department in RBN.

Upon arrival onboard KDB DARULEHSAN, Commander of RBN was received by Commander Khairil Haji Abdul Rahman, Fleet Commander of RBN. The farewell visit then continued onboard the flight deck of KDB DARULEHSAN where the Commander of RBN delivered his farewell speech.

In his farewell speech, the Commander of RBN emphasized on the importance of the Fleet as one of the backbone of RBN and to maintain high level of professionalism and discipline in carrying out duties of the Fleet. He also thanked all the officers and sailors who have tirelessly contributed throughout their service.

The visit then proceeds with a group photo session with all the fleet officers and personnel followed by and received a commemorative memento from the Fleet. The farewell visit concluded with the parchment signing and a final pipe as a sign of respect for his career as Commander of RBN.
