ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY PARTICIPATED IN MULTINATIONAL GROUP SAIL TO HAWAII

Guam, Sunday, 02 August 2020 - KDB DARULEHSAN has joined RSS SUPREME, USS RAFAEL PERALTA, HMAS SIRIUS and HMAS STUART to form the Multi National Group Sail (MNGS) to conduct passage exercise while enroute to Hawaii. The objective of the MNGS is to enhance defence diplomacy and interoperability with participating navies while preparing for the upcoming EXERCISE RIMPAC 2020.

The MNGS commenced on 2nd August 2020 and is expected to be completed on 11th August 2020 in which KDB DARULEHSAN has conducted a range of exercises including manoeuvring exercises, screen play exercises, communications drills and warfare voice procedures. Other exercises planned for the MNGS yet to be conducted include gunnery exercises and replenishment-at-sea approaches.

The Royal Brunei Navy remains fully committed in their efforts to enhance professionalism and interoperability while strengthening defence diplomacy.
