MUARA, Thursday, 26 December 2019 - The Religious Workshop 2019, held over a duration of three weeks concluded yesterday at the Naval Training School (NTC). The workshop was led by Ustaz Muhammad Rafi'uddin bin Haji Md Ali, Religious Teacher of Royal Brunei Navy. A total of 17 personnel participated in the workshop.

Present as the Guest of Honour was Ikram bin Haji Nokman, Religious Officer, RBAF Religious Department (JAMA'AT), Ministry of Defence. Also present at the event were instructors from NTC. In his remarks, the Guest of Honour advised the workshop participants to practice the knowledge acquired into their daily routines not only for their personal benefit, but also to share the knowledge with their family members and colleagues within the organisation.

Among the workshop materials covered were Jama and Qasar Prayers (Prayers during travel), Islamic History (Sirah Nabawiah). Speaking on behalf of the workshop participants was Warrant Officer 2, Mohamad Almin bin Hj Roslan, RBN. The ceremony concluded with the handing of award certificates. The Best Student Award was conferred to Petty Officer Ismail bin Hj Ibrahim, RBN, and Ordinary Rate Nur'izzati binti Hj Adnan, RBN, for their best performance on Islamic History (Sirah Nabawiah).
