ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY RECEIVED WORKING VISIT FROM DEFENCE ATTACHÉ/ADVISERS

MUARA, Thursday, 5 December 2019 - Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) received a working visit from Brunei Darussalam Defence Attachés / Advisers to foreign countries and Resident Defence Attachés / Advisers to Brunei Darussalam. The delegation consists of a total of 13 Defence Advisers / Attachés, with 7 Defence Advisers to foreign countries and 6 Defence Adviser / Attachés are accredited to Brunei Darussalam. The working visit was hosted by Captain Pengiran Mohamad bin Pengiran Haji Damit, RBN, Acting Commander of Royal Brunei Navy.

The objective of the visit was to provide an understanding to RBN's organizational structures, roles and responsibilities and the organization's evolution throughout the years. Present to share insights was Commander Sonny Iskandar bin Rasani, RBN, Chief of Staff. Also scheduled in the programme was a ship a tour onboard a DARUSSALAM class vessel, KDB DARULEHSAN. The ship tour aimed to provide in-depth knowledge to the specifications and capabilities of the vessels and this information was further elaborated in a ship's brief delivered by Commander Rasman bin Puteh, RBN, Commanding Officer of KDB DARUTTAQWA.

The working visit was organized in conjunction with the Defence Attachés / Advisers Conference 2019, held over a period of two-days at the Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF).
