RBN RECEIVES WORKING VISIT FROM MARABURONG PRISON DEPARTMENT

MUARA, Monday, 2 December 2019 - The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) received a working visit from the Maraburong Prison Department. The group consisted of 21 personnel led by Prison Supervisor Superintendent Salman bin Siggar, Officer Commanding Maraburong Prison Phase 1. 

The tour commenced at the Naval Training Center. The group was welcomed by Commander Sonny Iskandar bin Rasani, RBN, Chief of Staff. An introductory brief was conducted by Lieutenant Muhammad Muizz bin Hj Md Jaini, RBN, 2IC Human Resource Officer, which highlighted the roles, assets, missions abroad as well as the responsibilities of RBN.

The group also had the opportunity to visit one of RBN Ships, KDB DARULAMAN, where they toured into the Ratings' Mess, Rigid Hull Inflatable Craft (RHIC) deck, Foxcle, sickbay and bridge. Their working visit is part of their development program to expand knowledge on other agencies.
