MUARA, Thursday, 28 November 2019 - The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) received a working visit from the participants of the Regional Maritime Counter Terrorism Table-Top Exercise (MCT TTX) 2019. The exercise consists of 23 participants from Australia, Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Republic of Philippines, Republic of Singapore and Thailand. Upon arrival at Multi-National Coordination Centre (MNCC) Muara, the participants were welcomed by, Captain Norshahrinizam bin Haji Talib, RBN, Fleet Commander of RBN.
At the MNCC, the exercise participants were briefed on RBN's roles and operations by Commander Saiful Hazril bin Ali, RBN, Assistance Chief of Staff Operations followed by a ship tour onboard RBN Patrol Vessel, KDB DARULEHSAN.
MT CT TTX 2019 is held over a duration of two days and is conducted at the strategic level involving senior officers in military, policy and law domain, co-hosted by the Joint Force Headquarters and Directorate of Defence Policy under the Ministry of Defence of Brunei Darussalam and their Australian counterpart.
